COMPETITION BBQ EXPERIENCE
Competing across the nation on the KCBS Professional BBQ Circuit, to turning their passion into a business, smoking team Chad and Maria Cooke bring their Championship Competition BBQ to a parking lot near you.
Starting on the streets of Grafton WI in 2011, The Smokin' C's spent Ten years competing on the Professional BBQ Circuit. Traveling Town to Town, State to State, even uprooting from Wisconsin to reside in Northern Alabama, honing their skills to be Judged in many different BBQ Regions- The results, collecting Eight State Grand Championships in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Tennessee and Wisconsin, as well over Two Hundred Awards, from across the Great North, Deep South and even Puerto Rico. These accomplishments earned the C's an opportunity to compete on BBQ's biggest stages :
Sam's Club National
BBQ Championship:
Sam's Headquarters Bentonville, AR. This Event could be compared to March Madness of College Basketball, Teams compete in a Local Event with the Top Teams advancing to their Regional Championship. The Top Ten finishers from the five Regions across the County (Fifty Teams) Advance to the National Championship. The C's finished Third in the Local Event & were Crowned the Midwest Regional Grand Champions- One of Five Regional Grand Champions in the Country advancing to the National Championship, where The C's finished with Top 5 Ribs, Top 15 Chicken and 19th Overall.

American Royal
Kansas City, MO. A four-day event, known as the World Series of BBQ-Day one & two begins with The Invitational- Over 150 Grand Championship Teams accept the invite to compete for the Crown of AR Invitational Champion, while day three & four is The Open- Nearly 500 Competition Teams from across the globe gather to claim the AR Championship of the World's Largest BBQ event. The C's competed in both events, finishing 14th overall in the Invitational and top 10 overall in the Open.

Receiving the invitation to compete at the Jack, to quote the C's "You've already won, and you haven't even gotten there yet"
That win was just the start, as the C's came in on Top competing against 96 of some of the Best Teams in the World to be Crowned the 2017 World Brisket Champions.
Now The C's are starting a new BBQ chapter by bringing Championship BBQ from the Judging table...to you.
